My hometown

My hometown is Trzemeszno, a small town that lies between Poznań and Toruń, around 20 km from the first capital of Poland - Gniezno.

When I think about Trzemeszno I see....

a picteresque cathedral

and a monument of Jan Kiliński, who seems to watch over the town.

Then, the only pub, which has dominated "cultural life" of Trzemeszno
and a factory chimney which hopefully only from time to time makes our life a misery.

I would say that these are the objects, around which the everyday life of this town is concentrated.

As far as I am concerned, I feel that I don't belong to Trzemeszno any more. I haven't lived there for more then six years and since my all friends moved out, starting their "adult life" somewhere else, I simply feel strange passing by people who I barely know. However it doesn't mean that Trzemeszno isn't close to me because it always be. Here is my family, here I spent the most carefree years and only here do I feel truly safe. Now, as the graduation from KJO is approaching, I'm thinking about my own corner in this world and I wonder where would it be...
